Traditions, rituals and practices were taken in Rome in the 9th century BC, when Romans of all classes felt doubt regarding mysteries that were unknown. Mysteries brought themselves sacred rituals such as: purifications, sacrificial offerings, processions, songs, dances, and dramatic performances, where their objective was give consolation and moral instruction in the life and to inspire hope for life after death.
The roman´s mind there was a deal between gods and mortals, so each one received as well as they did. The most important steps were:
Don’t make mistakes when they were doing sacrifices.
There were prayers to give specific wishes or necessities like: to bring bad luck upon another, or for the return of stolen property.
The sacrifice had to be some kind of life´s symbol.
Sacrificing animals was the most normal, so it was acceptable to sacrifice milk, fruits, cheese and wine which were less bloody.
The most important beast´s organ was going to be sacrificed on the high altar.
The rest of animal was going to be eaten for a party or celebration.
The roman state had fixed temples and rituals to benefit their greater gods, so Romans in their privacy worshipped at their divinities.
